“A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people.”
– Franklin D. Roosevelt
Earth Day is an annual celebration that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earths natural resources for future generations. The first Earth Day was held April 22, 1970.
Every April 22nd, stakeholders of all backgrounds come together to advance sustainability and climate action in commemoration of Earth Day. It includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2023 is Invest In Our Planet.
We at Ekodome are excited to be part of EARTHDAY.ORG’s #InvestInOurPlanet campaign, in celebration of the 52nd anniversary Earth Day. Protecting our global environment is one of our core values. We are committed to and encouraging the reduction of our carbon footprint. We give back, in every way we can, to our people and to our planet. And we follow 3R’s: reduce, reuse and recycle.
Above all that, we decided to plant 100 trees for each dome sold, through the Canopy Project at EARTHDAY.ORG, working worldwide for reforestation of environmentally degraded areas and risk zones.
We can make a difference in every industry, but that won’t happen until we all work together to invest in our planet. Join EARTHDAY.ORG in this movement and learn all the ways you can get involved here: https://www.earthday.org/earth-day-2023/
